The purpose is to help compulsive gamblers quit gambling
and to help family members cope with the gambler who lives
with them. Meetings are offered at the following location:

Information: Gateway provides outpatient services for
clients with substance abuse or mental health issues.
Services offered: Assessment, individual, group, and
intensive group services. Groups for clients with chemical
dependency and mental health issues. Specific treatment
tracks for women and DUI referred clients. Childcare is
available for women receiving services. Psychiatric
evaluations available for registered clients.
Persons served: All chemically dependent, abusers and
chemically dependent with mental health issues.
Fees: Sliding scale, Medicaid, Medicare, ISPS,
Insurance, County funds.

aging at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Graduate level Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in
Gerontology. Short-term training in gerontology in the form
of workshops, conferences, colloquia, in-service sessions
and lecture series. Through the Illinois Missouri Geriatric
Education Center, the Gerontology Program provides geriatric
education and training to health professionals and educators
in southern Illinois. Public service programs for older
adults. Dialogue with Senior Citizens, Annual Senior
Citizens Fair and lecture series and courses designed for
older adults.
Persons served: Public Service Programs for older
adults in the regional area: education and training programs
for those individuals seeking careers in the field of aging
and for professionals and paraprofessionals serving the
elderly.

Madison counties
Fees: Many cases covered by Medicare/Medicaid or

Services offered: Offers support for grandparents
raising one or more grandchildren. Addresses the many
concerns facing these special grandparents such as legal
issues (custody guardianship, foster care and adoption).
They will offer resources for the development needs of a
child, financial assistance, and other important topics.
